Who We Are

CBCD is a ministry of Grace Bible Church, in Granbury, Texas. Grace has been training biblical counselors and disciplers since 2008 and providing free biblical counseling services to the community since 2009. Grace is a certified training center with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).

Our Vision

We hope that the ministry of the Center for Biblical Counseling and Discipleship will be a blessing to pastors, local churches, and individual believers through the training, resources, and counseling that we offer. And we pray that the Lord would use our efforts to strengthen His church and build up His people for continued gospel ministry for His glory.

Our Partners in Ministry

CBCD works in partnership with four other likeminded churches in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The pastors and ministry leaders at these churches provide the resource content for the CBCD website and serve as the main speakers at the Biblical Counseling & Discipleship Conference and other training events.

Grace Bible Church

Pastor Terry Enns

Terry is the pastor of Grace Bible Church and has served in that capacity since August, 1990. He and his wife Raye Jeanne married in May 1987 and they have two grown daughters, Elizabeth (Daniel) Diaz and Emily. Terry has almost 30 years of pastoral counseling experience, and is a certified ACBC counselor and an ACBC Fellow (supervisor) and grader. His education includes: B.A. from The University of North Florida and a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary

Dr. Keith Palmer

Keith is the associate pastor of Grace Bible Church and has served in that capacity since July, 2002. He and his wife Lisa have been married since December 2000. They have three children: Alan, Aimee & Aric.

Keith is a Fellow (supervisor), grader, and board member for the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). He is also an adjunct instructor in biblical counseling at The Master's University. His education includes a B.S. from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. A M.Div. from The Master’s Seminary and a D. Min. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary .

Grace Community Church

Pastor Bryan Gaines

Bryan Gaines is the Pastor of Leadership and Discipleship at Grace Community Church in Glen Rose and director of Grace Biblical Counseling. Bryan and his wife, Lara, have been married since September, 1999. The Lord has blessed them with three wonderful children, Grace, Josiah, and Kira.

Bryan is also a certified ACBC counselor and contributor to thecdcd.org. His education includes a M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

Calvary Bible Church

Pastor Randy Barlow

Randy is the senior pastor of Calvary Bible Church in Fort Worth, TX. He is a certified counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and a graduate of the Master’s Seminary in Sun Valley, CA (Th.M). Randy and his wife Savannah have three children: Abram, Ruby, and Amos.

Living Hope Bible Church

Pastor Brent Osterberg

Brent is a pastor at Living Hope Bible Church in Mansfield, Texas, and a certified counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). He and his wife, Keri, have been married since 2003 and they have three children: Peter, Justin, and Jane.

His education includes a B.S. from Sam Houston State University, a M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a D.Min. from The Master's Seminary.

Christ Fellowship Bible Church

Pastor Keith Christensen

Keith is the preaching pastor of Christ Fellowship Bible Church in northwest Fort Worth, a church plant of Calvary Bible Church. Keith is a certified ACBC counselor, and has been involved in training biblical counselors since 2016. He married his wife Katie in 2010, and the Lord has since given them 4 children. Keith's education includes a B.A. from Texas A&M University and an M.Div. from Southern Seminary (Louisville, KY).
